BIC TIP #1184: CE Season Is Upon Us

Watch Stephen Long remind North Carolina brokers that CE season has arrived and the June 10 deadline is coming.

It is that time of year again. Stephen Long wants every North Carolina broker to know that CE season is upon us. If you have passed your first June 10 with a license, you will need 8 hours of CE completed before the next June 10, and that date is coming up faster than you think.

Who Needs CE This Year

As Stephen explains, once you have passed your first June 10 as a licensee, the continuing education requirement applies to you. Eight hours, completed before the June 10 deadline. No extensions from procrastination, and no partial credit for good intentions.

If you are not sure where you stand, do not guess. Check your license record and confirm exactly what has been completed and what is still outstanding.

Do Not Wait Until June 9

Every year, a wave of brokers scrambles in the final days before the deadline, hunting for open seats and squeezing classes into a packed schedule. Avoid that stress. Pick your courses now, put them on your calendar, and get them done while there are plenty of options.

Take CE With the Notorious BIC

If you would like to take CE with Stephen, he teaches in person every other Wednesday. He rotates the General Update, the Broker-in-Charge Update, and an elective between now and June 10. The elective is Bot or Not, his course on using AI in your real estate business.

He is also available for private bookings, so if your office or team has CE needs, he is happy to help.

The Practical Takeaway

Log in, check your license record, and make sure all eight hours of CE are completed before June 10. Book your classes early, and if you want a little fun with your compliance, join the Notorious BIC in class.
